Pink Climbing Roses....Happy Birthday Card

A pretty paper napkin with pink, climbing roses was just right for the card. I stencilled the wording and added some prisma glitter to the centre of the flowers and a pink sparkly dragonfly. The texture of the card feels like linen and the colours are soft and subdued.

Butterflies and Sparkly Flowers.....Stitched Little Notebook

I am still using my pretty butterfly napkins to cover my little notebooks.
Inside, I have added some sweet little stickers that I made and used a mauve thread to stitch the top of the pages together. I used soft pink paper and there are 8 pages.
This is the back of the notebook...it was hard deciding which was to be the front, but the butterflies won!!

Dragonflies and Violets.....Little Notebook/Journal

https://www.etsy.com/au/shop/LinLovesPaper

I particularly love using this serviette (napkin) for my paper patchwork. A packet was given to me on my birthday a few years ago and I thought they were just too gorgeous to use at the dinner table. I have been incorporating them into my papercraft ever since!

Sweet Pansies....Little Purse

I made another little purse using a gorgeous napkin with sweet pansies on it. This time I lined the inside as well. The outside has been Mod Podged for durability. It is just perfect to pop in your pocket when you don't want to take your handbag with you.

Sweetheart ♥.... Little Journal/Notebook

https://www.etsy.com/au/shop/LinLovesPaper

A serviette (napkin) was used for this little notebook. Just thing to pop in the pocket of your jeans.... I used Mod Podge over the serviette to make the book durable.

There are 16 little pages for your notes. I have used some soft twine to bind the book so it is super-easy to slip some more pages in.

Matchbox Art...Prudence and the Rainy Day

I love matchboxes.... I guess because I also love dollhouses and teeny tiny things. Once I have used a box of matches, a world of possibility is now open to me. I covered this one in pretty serviette (napkin) paper.
I still wasn't sure what it was going to be. It is raining outside so I thought it could be a sweet little bed for someone.... but who? I looked through lots of my supplies and found just the right person... Prudence! She was very happy to snuggle in bed.

I made her a pillow, some sheets and a comfy quilt out of paper. Teddy doesn't like the rain much either....

Mod Podged Little Purse

I wanted to make myself a little purse to pop in my handbag to hold just my licence, credit card and a $10.00 note. Sometimes when I am out and about I don't want to take my regular purse which is quite heavy with far too many things in it! I used pretty serviette (napkin) paper and Mod Podged it onto heavy white paper. To give it some durability I Mod Podged the outside as well.
The size is 11cm x 9cm so it is quite small. I embellished it with a gorgeous tiny doily (hand-dyed by my friend) and a sweet half-pearl. I will test it out and let you know how it goes....

Butterflies in the Garden

http://www.zibbet.com/LinLovesPaper
Working with serviettes is so much fun as there is a lot of variety and several cards can be made from one serviette. Blush pink and mint green always go together and I couldn't resist this design.

Teatime Treats Birthday Card

http://www.zibbet.com/LinLovesPaper

I couldn't resist this adorable tray of treats on a serviette so I turned it into a card. I added some sparkle to the cakes and edged the background paper with Kindyglitz.

Blushing Roses Box

This box was too easy to jazz up....I found a lovely plain pink box in a cheap shop so I Mod Podged the top with a pretty serviette then added some sparkly butterflies. The final touch was to edge it with Kindyglitz. Why not make a few yourself?

Scrappy Heart - 3

When I came across this leftover scrap of vibrant, fuchsia textured paper, I knew it would make a perfect background for this scrappy heart. I originally used the paper to make a wine glass lampshade and I kept the scraps because they were too gorgeous to throw out. So glad I did!!

Scrappy Heart - 2

Are you feeling scrappy today? If so, make some cards. I couldn't resist adding just a teeny, tiny bit of bling...

Scrappy Heart

This afternoon, I felt like working with purple colourways and decided to make a card using leftovers from my stash. One of my crafting goals for 2012 is to use my existing craft supplies before buying some more..... wish me luck!!
